  1. This reading was very informative. You should say, "My mass is ___ pounds too much".

  3. The reading helped clarify for me the difference between weight and mass and the effect that a gravitational pull has on somethings weight. When scales show "kg" or "lb" it is just an estimate of the mass above them.

  4. This reading helped to verify the difference between mass and weight. It also showed me how a scale really works and that mass is affected by weight and vice versa.

  5. this was a quite wonderfully informational piece of reading. i was informed that mass does not equal to weight. the weight of an object is determined but the amount of force gravity pulls on an object. so on the moon the weight would be lighter because theres less gravity. because mass is how much an object contains it would still be the same on the moon or any other place. so instead of saying i weigh this much you should be saying my ass is this much

That it is the force of gravity. The scale shows your mass. (kgs, lbs)

  10. If i stepped on a scale i would say that i weigh 95.4 kg because that is my weight in pounds (210lbs) converted into mass

  11. I weigh 926.1 N which is the same as my weight in pounds 210

  12. When we step on the scale we should say that our weight is in relation to gravity. Our mass is not necessarily the same as our weight.
